I am trying to virtualize a browser with plugins to use for state online testing. I have used ZAV in the past to do smaller edu apps without major problems.

I downloaded Firefox 26 to my VM and installed it in snapshot mode. then I captured a diff and built the virtual app. It opened successfully on my VM so I copied it to my desktop to test. When I open it on my desktop the homepage isn't set and when I do a help > about it tells me that is it version 24.2 and not 26. Somehow it is running the locally installed firefox and not from the sandbox?

Is this because the virtual app has the same path to the launch .exe as the default Mozilla install? But shouldn't it be running it from the sandbox ? I'm not sure what is going on.
