snbd12dm.dll error

I have been trying to create a virtual app op an application for our lab called GLIMS. It is a progress database application. It has been giving me gray hairs this week!!! If I run the virtual app on any other machine than the one I created it on, I get a message "The application was unable to load a required component: snbd12dm.dll. ..." The virtual app has no reference to the dll it moans about, and the dll is also not installed on the machine I have used to create the virtual app. I have tried this on multiple VMs (XP, 7) and used ZAV 9

    I'm having the exact same problem as described above. Tried everything to get it working but on every other machine the thinapp fails to start due to a missing snbd12dm.dll. Been trying to create a v-app from glims for over a week now.

    I don't know how I missed this thread previously.

    Would it be possible for either of you to provide the installation media and the build process you went through? This kind of issue will require in-house testing to verify and that information will be extremely useful there.

    What container is hosting the VM you're using to build? I know that in ESX having VMWare Tools installed can cause issues with snapshotting.

    Vm: Windows xp sp3 on a vmware esx host with Vmware tools installed.
    Capture process: first snapshot: install progress, reboot, install glims, reboot, start glims, shutdown glims, second snapshot. Test run on capture vm => success, restore vm to clean state, Test run on clean vm => fails snbd12dm.dll not found.

    Tried to capture the application without vmware tools installed but still I get the same error.

    Can you find sndbd12Cm.dll on the system?
    If so, try renaming it to sndbd12dm.dll
