VMX wants to shutdown VMs

Hello,

VMX wants to shutdown VMs since ESX upgrade to 7.0

Logs say:

INFO  [2490953] ForceSnapshot is enabled.

INFO  [2490953] PrepareForAccess VD Service at host: vcsa.example.com:443 error: VIX_E_HOST_USER_PERMISSIONS
ERROR [2490953] Could not PrepareForAccess to VD Service. Host:'vcsa': VIX_E_HOST_USER_PERMISSIONS VM: VM001(vm-66032).
ERROR [2490953] vMotion cannot be disabled for VM VM001 on host "vcsa.example.com"
INFO  [2490953] Current value of ShutDownGuest: False. Setting it to true.
INFO  [2490953] Shutting down guest for vm 'VM001'...

Why?

Gladly RBAC on Vcenter is configured such that VMX user is not allowed to do this!

Any option asking to shut down or restart VM is NOT selected.

VMX 7.1.4, ESX 7.0.3

Thanks

Define what you call "full backup" and/or what your actual end goal is.

If you do your first "incremental" it will obviously perform a full backup. (what else would it base the incrementals on).

The only difference is how it does it, AFAIK it uses other APIs/methods, but the result is the same.
