SOAP-API search function in workspace (XML)

Good day. I am quite new to vibe and I have been struggling with something. I need to be able to retrieve file entries in the workspace when I use a query with search attributes. for example, if I use "test" as a record_subject search variable. It should return the file entries within that specific workspace. Regardless of whether or not they are under a folder or directly under a workspace. At this point I can't pinpoint a specific workspace I want to search. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
