Scanning documents into VIBE

I want to create an archive of documents.
Is it possible to configure VIBE to automatically receive a document from the scanner  to the selected VIBE folder (eg via GW / rule / to the email address of the folder)?
Or is it possible to automatically redirect the received email from GW to the VIBE folder?
Or - it is possible to create a rule for automatic copying of emails (redirection of email messages) to the VIBE folder.
I have a lot of email messages from yyy@company.com - how do I move them to the VIBE folder - drag & drop does not work .... (although it will move them - but VIBE will open them * .GWI). Well Thank you.

    Yes, yes, yes.

And drag&drop from GW to any other location fails because you have to change your client options. Default value for drag is "create a link". So go for tools, options, environment, default action and change this:

    Perfect - it works!
    Very simple and functional solution.
GW14 and GW18 client - works on Vibe 4 versions.

I can now drag and drop this to e-mails - simply paste it into the Intranet at:

    • evidence of post
    • service request
    • reminder of the date (licenses, service, revisions of equipment and buildings
    • tasks
    • contracts
    • scan archive
    • ANYTHING ...

and edit the record there immediately (in VIBE).
It's faster than doing it manually in VIBE

    Thanks a lot - Mr Rimser ...

You can also configure a Vibe folder to receive e-mails directly from a scanner.

    The following must be configured:

    • The Vibe server must be configured to receive e-mails
    • On the GWIA (if using GroupWise) use the route.cfg file to direct e-mails for Vibe to the Vibe server
    • In Vibe you can then e-mail enable the folder to receive e-mails on "Simple URLs and Email Addresses" and define the e-mail address it must use.
    • Make sure the internal system user "E-Mail Posting Agent" has participant rights to the folder.
    • On the scanner you can then send the e-mails from the scanner via the GWIA to the Vibe server and make sure that the GWIA will allow the IP to be relayed.

That's what I like and use. Not only for scanned documents.

    • I use for my wiki - i.e. if I read an interesting solution I will send it directly to my Vibe wiki.
    • I use it for my home page - i.e. If I want to change my home page (=landing page by Vibe) it's easy. I just have to send a mail to one of my defined addresses and my landing page looks different.

I love the in and out mailing functionality of Vibe!
