Update 4.0.5 to 4.0.6 crash

    Hi Gotthard,

    Just a quick question... did you do: /etc/init.d/teaming start --> to start Vibe? As far as I know the command to start Vibe 4.0.5 and above is: systemctl start vibe.service

    As for your installation error - at this point I do not have an answer for you.....

    Surprised 4.0.5 worked as I believe that's when they dropped support for SLES11. That's why we're still stuck on Vibe 4.0.4.

    Vibe installs are a bit hit and miss at the best of times, doing either an in-place OS upgrade (not supported on VMware guests either) or a migration to a new server is something we really don't want to tackle until we're forced to.

    Update revoked. Fastest variant to rebuild the server.
    Now I have a http status 500 :-(

    Hello,

    server is running now. Error was an incomplete database connection string.

    Even the installer routine presents the correct database password during
    install, simple <enter> will not add the password into configuration
    files. You _have_ to retype it correctly.

    Grummel...

    BTW: Serverupdate to SLES 15 is planned
