Audit folder - MailAccessedItems and MoveToDeletedItems

I noticed that our Retain seems to be backing up a lot of messages nightly. After digging a little bit, I see that there are items in an "Audit" folder called MailAccessedItems and MoveToDeletedItems, etc. These are for our 365 mailboxes. I'm curious if these should be excluded from backing up and if anyone else already does that. There are also "Calendar Logging" items.
