A monitoring tool reports a much higher thread usage then is normal for that server. This may or may not be in combination with high load or other performance issues.If the increase is only a spike which goes down almost immediately again, it is no cause for concern.
If the thread count remains at the new level or even increases constantly you should investigate what causes this
