Knowledge Document: Yast2 no longer starts after patching

After patching Open Enterprise Server (OES) node, the yast2 tool fails to start and error message was encountered.

Environment

Open Enterprise Server 2023
Open Enterprise Server 23.4 


Situation

After patching an OES cluster node, attempting to start the yast2 tool results in the following error message: 
/usr/lib/YaST2/bin/y2controlcenter: error while loading shared libraries: libicui18n.so.73: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Cause

The error occurs due to missing shared libraries required by the yast2 tool.
