Trying to install SMG on openSUSE returns errors

Environment

SMG 24.3

Situation

Attempt to install SMG 24.3 on either openSUSE 15SP5 or SP6 returns an error that there is no smg repository found.  This could also happen with regular SLES15SP5

Cause

This version of SMG is the first non appliance version.  It can be installed on SLES15SP5, openSUSE 15SP5 ro SP6.  However with the incorrect product key, there will be an error about the SMG repoository is not found.

The exact error is:

"Loading repository data...
Reading installed packages...
'smg' not found in package names. Trying capabilities.
No provider of 'smg' found."
