Hi folks,

I've been away for a minute, but I'm hoping someone can help with an issue we’re experiencing. Over the last week, an organization that usually sends us emails for many years is seeing their messages blocked. We're running SMG 23.3.8 rpm:1.0.1-547.1 (appliance).

After talking to Microsoft, they suggested that our IT team check if we're accepting emails with ARC-Seal authentication from Microsoft.

ARC-Seal: i=2; a=rsa-sha256; s=arcselector10001; d=microsoft.com; cv=fail;

Has anyone else come across this or found a solution?

SMG for the win!!

As it turns out, SMG did appropriately block the email and the arc-seal comment from Microsoft was a distraction. Their SPF was indeed misconfigured (smg logs were checked and confirmed by mxtoolbox) and I declined to whitelist their domain. Thank you Diethmar Rimser for reminding me to check SMG first instead of assuming the other (larger and staffed up) organization got it right. lesson learned (again).
