The BitDefender license inside SMG expired on December 31st. Unfortunately we did not catch it in time so everyone is seeing the error and finding that AV is having issues. We are actively working on this with the folks at BitDefender. There is no need to open a case for this. Once we get the license we will push it out to all SMG systems so the update will be invisible to you.
I sincerely apologize for our dropping the ball on this one and please know that it a high priority for our team to get this fixed.
