I've just realized the following. This bothered me for a while, but could not describe the feeling until now. There is something old looking and disturbing in the GW windows client. Every time the client loads an email in the quick viewer and I move with the cursor between the emails there is a flicker. Before the client loads the email into the quick viewer, the body of the email turns to the colour of the header for a fraction of a second. Then the new email is loaded which has most of the time a white background. This quick change in colour results in a flicker feeling. At least for me. The background colour of the attachment window and the header stays the same. Just the body of the message changes colour quickly. I guess this is working as designed from a developers point of view, but it is undesirable for end users. My idea is to remove this "flicker". Or at least change it to white as most emails have a white background colour. What do you think?
