The blog entry from SUSE is actually relevant for all products such as OES, GroupWise etc. In the source from SUSE you can see what exactly is intended for the move of the patch sources between the years. SUSE partners and customers have received an email on this topic.
Quote from the content of the mail to customers and partners of SUSE "This change relates to the patch and update distribution mechanism for all active SUSE based Linux systems including SLE Micro based solutions. It is likely that you will not notice the change. In some cases, however, you need to take action. Doing so during the next few days, the patch and update process for your systems will continue to work as normal. If you delay, you may have a reduced ability to automatically receive patches and updates from January 9th, 2025 onwards. Once this transition is complete, we will have changed our CDN provider to Akamai, the world’s leading and most distributed platform for secure content delivery."
Maybe the topic is important for some of you if you want to change your environment over Christmas and New Year's Eve.
