GroupWise is slowing down

I had today talk with my customer and he told me, that the GroupWise system is during the years slowing down very significantly. Now it takes 10 - 15 seconds to open an text only email. Which wasn't case, when we did big upgrade from GroupWise 8 to GroupWise 18. Caching mode is not an option, customer doesn't want it. 

Server side index/content GWCheck is running every week. There is purge job, which delete anything older than year. GroupWise system is not growing.

Currently we are on 23.4 build 143950 .

Anyone on same boat ?

    NetBIOS checked , user migrated to new post office, still no change.

    In my experience the best performance without problems with any search ("Find") type and without all the issues, the new clients introduced, you get with client 18.3.1  build 137846. This is also true for Windows 11 clients with core isolation set to on and netbios over TCP enabled.

    The postoffices are running GW 24.1 build 144961. I am otherwise using client GW 24.1 build 144763 and build 144961. But they have the problem, that sometimes searches start to hang, thus hanging the whole client or if you switch to quickly between folders in the client back and forth the client starts to stall and needs very long to display the folder content. The client 18.3.1 seems to be much more responsive and stable even in connections with the new POA.

    Have you tried to rollback the client to such an old one?
