GroupWise Mobile Server

Finished the GMS setup and ready to do the over-the-air installation, but in the server log it shows "Error Sending SMTP Message: '550 5.7.1 Unable to relay for phonenumber@vtext.com'

Does GMS have it's own built in SMTP engine or is using someone elses or my GWIA? I don't see anything on the GWIA when trying to submit and the error is immediate. I've put in exceptions in my GWIA for this machine to be able to relay but didn't help.

GMS uses the IIS SMTP server, but it relays off of your gwia. You need
to make sure you set up your gwia's IP/DNS name for GMS messages in the
    admin console.

Note that you can also install from many wireless devices by simply
browsing to http://<your gms>/install with the device.

Thanks, that helped me as well, but now I have another issue. When I try
to sync from my Palm Treo 700P, I have a problem.

I run the program on the Palm, select SYNC, get instructions to
"scribble on the screen", and the progress bar goes forward a bit, then
    stops.

After about 30 seconds, I get an error messae that sys:

    SYNC SESSION 10/13/06 4:16PM
    RANDOM NUMBER NOT SUPPLIED
    EMAIL ACCELERATOR 10/13/06 4:16PM

    Any suggestions?

You need to keep scribbling until the progress bar finishes.

Problem solved. The issue was that when I was instructed to "scribble",
I should have continued to scribble until the progress bar completed.
(looks like my response here, and the response I got from Jim crossed
    paths. Thanks Jim!)

Yes, it's an annoying instruction is it not! You have to scribble til it's
    done!
