Situation

Users notice that they are being sent Overdue Action email notifications repeatedly rather than as per the 'System Options > Actions Notifications > Action overdue reminder interval' setting. For example:

(System Options > Notifications setting - 60 minutes)


(System Options > Actions Notifications > Action overdue reminder interval - 1 day)

(Email Notifications are sent to assignee every 60 minutes rather than daily as per the 'System Options > Actions Notifications > Action overdue reminder interval' setting)

Cause

The issue is caused due to the value in the Content Manager system table TSTWRSYS used for handling Overdue Action email notifications is not updated correctly
