Situation
All users experiencing significant slowness when using Content Managers' thick client during business hour.
Analysis of the Content Manager Workgroup Server logs reveals multiple calls to the access controls and additional fields tables, which greatly increase the log activity.
The client logs (TRIM.exe
or TRIMDesktop.exe
) show the following repeated entry in quick succession:
WGS : Refreshing cache due to notification connection switching from workgroup server '00x' to '00y'.
