Knowledge Document: Mobile App not displaying Record Types when creating new records

If the Numbering on a Record Type is set to either "Based on Container" or "Based on Category", user will not be able to see that Record Type during Record Creation on Mobile App

Environment

Content Manager 23.x
Content Manager 24.x
 

Situation

If the Numbering of a Record Type is set to either of the below:

Then user will not be able to search for that Record Type in CM Mobile App

Root Cause

Currently mobile app is designed to support basic Record Type settings with no manual numbering, no structured titling, no mandatory fields on record type form.

OpenText R&D will consider extending the flexibility of the Record Type settings in future CM Release, for the time being, users should follow above rules while creating record types for mobile app.
