OpenText is announcing the release of

Product: Secure Content Manager
Version:24.4
Languages: English, French, Spanish

The following  new key features are available with this version:

  • Content Manager 24.4 is a Long-Term Support release focused on delivering incremental innovation for the web client, Microsoft® Teams Integration App and performance improvements on search and database operations. Along with features, code fixes for customer-reported issues are also part of this release.
  • Refine search results in web client
The capability to further refine the search results based on the column's metadata allows customers to conveniently refine the search results in a new left pane listing the filter-worthy columns from the original search results. This method makes it easier for users to refine results without building a complex query upfront.
  • Microsoft Teams® integration app incremental improvements
Incremental improvements to be able to Revoke Exposed records in the Microsoft® Teams integration app and the capability to search within folders and sub-folders
These improvements are fundamental and improve the completeness of the functions.
  • Stable updates - Preserve configuration files
Preserve the customization of config files during the upgrade
Preserving customizations simplifies the configuration of services after upgrades, to quickly reconfigure the new configuration files from the saved informatin. This reduction in maintenance overhead contributes to lowering the overall Total Cost of Ownership.
  • Accessibility improvements on the web client
This is a basic requirement for customers to be compliant with their local governance policies in accordance to the WCAG/VPAT guidelines. Along with Content Manager’s existing compliance, a few additional user journeys in the web client are now compliant with Keyboard shortcuts and Focus order.
