Knowledge Document: Outlook add-in "Open Record" button should open Content Manager to the record instead of opening the Record Entry Form

When the user clicks on Open record on Outlook adding ribbon the record entry form is shown.

Environment

Content Manager 23.4.x
Content Manager 24.x

Situation

When the user clicks on "Open record" button on the Outlook adding ribbon the record entry form is displayed. This is not expected as the user would like to see that record in CM full client when clicking that button.

Cause

The option "Use record properties dialog when open record" in Content Manager Outlook adding option is enabled by default.
