New Alert Message in Outlook for CM Add-in

Hi team,

We have recently had users experience a new pop-up when opening Outlook, the message doesn't stop them from accessing outlook nor does it disable or prevent them from using the CM add-in. Just curious if anyone else has come across this and what might be the cause. It started occurring roughly 3 weeks ago to some users not all.

We are using CM10.1 - Windows 10 & 11

    Hi,

    Could be caused by a variety of reasons. As you mentioned it doesn't prevent them from using the CM add-in i'll guess that the network stuff is all good.

    There should be a log file in C:\Users\Scott\AppData\Roaming\Micro Focus\Content Manager\OfficeIntegration\Logs

    (Change the username to the users folder in question)

    Would be worth comparing a fresh log for a user where the error happens, and a log where the error does not happen to determine the difference.

    There was a bug a while ago that Office changed some stuff with the way it loads in an update which broke the CM add-ins for a while - I believe the cause was outlooks that had multiple other add-ins running. May be worth checking if there is a difference in the add-ins that Outlook loads for a user that has the issue and a user that does not.
