Consignment Numbers not adding up

Just recently found an issue where consignment number at creation and disposition are not adding up.  Number of disposed records is HIGHER than number of records at consignment creation.  Not sure if this can be accounted for network issues where they had to try the disposal more than once?  The consignment log only accounts for the records at creation. Can anyone confirm that revisions do not bump up the disposed numbers?

    Hi Patti,

Curious - Which version of CM are you using?

Thought it may be due to contained items within those covered by the consignment but just did a test on 10.1.0.444 and a consignment with a single folder and multiple contained items just shows as both a single selected and a single disposed.

If you do a 'Show Records' against the consignment in question and do a count, how many records do you get?

Do you have a copy of the Log Record generated by the consignment after processing? It should show which exact records were processed by the consignment. Does the count from the log file processed matched the number of records destroyed?

Scotty,  Sorry, just saw this.  Yes, we did a Show Records Count, but as you mention a container with several records only counts as 1 in the consignment.  The log counts don't add up either.  Version is 10.1.0.444.  In the process of upgrading to 23.4 (latest hotfix) and will see if that resolves the issue in a future consignment, but doesn't resolve previous ones.
