Knowledge Document: FTP backup job backing up objects as empty directory

Server use autofs to mount directories automatically. Running the backup job manually, the job runs well. When set schedule job, the directory shows "empty" and there is no data inside.

Environment

Data Protector version 11.01
Operating System in client is Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.3

Situation

After enabling Autofs and using Autofs to mount directories automatically, scheduled jobs run backup directories. The session report shows the directories are "empty." Running the same backup job manually, mount point works, and data in directories is shown and backed up fully.

Cause

The issue happens when mount point is unmounted before timeout happens from autofs and OS.
