Error during Oracle cross-host recovery. The error content is as follows： [Major] From: hostname "" Time: XXX Object not found or access denied.

Environment

Data Protector Version: 10.40
Operating System version: Linux 7.9
Oracle Version 12c

Situation

The following error message is displayed when the oracle database recovers from another machine

[Major] From: hostname ""  Time: XXX
    Object not found or access denied.

Cause

The oracle SID on the target server must be the same as that on the source server

Find resolution on support portal
