Attempting to open the Data Protector manager using the CLI or manager.exe doesn’t launch anything or display any error messages.

Environment

Data Protector version: 23.4
Cell server: Windows Server 2019
 

Situation

GUI doesn't open or show an error.

Cause

When opening the GUI, Manager.exe crashes, and the following event log entry suggests a potential corruption issue:

Faulting application name: Manager.exe, version: 23.4.96.0, timestamp: 0x603047bf
Faulting module name: libcef.dll, version: 3.3202.1683.0, timestamp: 0x5a038510
Exception code: 0x80000003
Fault offset: 0x0000000000c71d1e
