Data Protector 23.4 is introducing the new GRE for Virtual Environment Integrations using the Data Protector User Interface.

When creating the request, after specifying "Virtualization Host", Virtual Machine" and "Disk", the "Session" list is showing all sessions for this Machine/Disk.

Here, a session adhering to all prerequisites should be choosen, e.g. the backup needs to be written to a StoreOnce or DDBoost device as only those are supportd for this type of GRE request. When a non-applicable session is selected, the request will stay "In Progress".

This situation can be rectified by "Unmounting disk" for this request.
