These features allow to bring up VM's within seconds from the Data Protector backup image residing on a supported Backup to Disk device and are documented in the manuals:

Power On
Live Migrate

The reason for this Support Tip is to ensure the GUI location where these features are enabled, is understood. That because confusion may arise, as there is another check box located in the Options tab in the Restore GUI context, which will only power on the VM after it has been restored in the classical way.

However, the Power On and Live Migration featues are enabled from the Source tab, as seen in the following picture:

As soon as selected the Restore button at the bottom of this window will change into the choosen option, e.g. for Power On:
