Hello Community, 

I will attempt to explain what I am trying to achieve. 

Cell Manager is running on Windows Server 2019. Media Manager is running on OpenSUSE Leap 15.4. I have iSCSI Target running Dell EMC Unity VSA while

Following components are installed on OpenSUSE Leap 15.4 . 

When attempting to run ZDB backup . It produces following error in the session log.

Trying to run the command results in the following error

Is it possible to perform ZDB backup of Windows Host from OpenSUSE Leap 15.4  media manager?

    Just a small remark. I hope you know 11.02 is out of support for a year already.

    About the failing command, can you please check whether this root user is part of the DP admin class? You can check with omniusers -list.

    I also would like to understand. Your Windows system is basically the application host and you want to use the Linux client as the backup host? The very first prerequisite I'm reading in the manual is:

    • Ensure that the same operating system version is installed on both the application system and the backup system.

    That would already answer the question whether this is supportd ...
