Data Protector in AWS - Deduplication/compression

Hi,

Please can you advise me? We want to setup Data Protector to copy our backup data to AWS. Please can you clarify does Data Protector offer any features to deduplicate/compress the backup data stored in AWS, or is it all stored as undeduplicated/uncompressed data?
