Accessing "Magellan BI & Reporting Release Notes"

Reading the Data Protector 23.4 documentation, specifically "Magellan BI and Reporting Integration", there is a link named "Magellan BI & Reporting Release Notes" recommended to be read.

However when I follow this link, I get a message that my user does not have access rights to the page. I tried to use an old-time OpenText user I had created in the past for a different product, but that user does not have access.

And when I used my MicroFocus account that has access to Data Protector, I also could not access the document.

So how is this intended to work?

    I reproduced the same by using a brand new account, without any products configured. I asked our docs team to double check this internally. In the meantime I would like to understand what account you have used when you saw this. Was that a support portal account with related products (DP?) configured? If you can share any details with me (can be a private message also if you prefer) then that may help me to further check what's going on. In any case I'm keeping an eye on this until I know this is working as it should.

    Do you actually still see the problem or did you find a way to access those pages in the meantime? Thank you very much for letting me know.

    As my support runs via a micro focus account I tired this one first. The I tried my old open text account, originally created for a different product.

    The problem seems to be that magellan reporting is an open text product, while data protector still is a micro focus product. The merge of companies and products still seems to be incomplete.

    I could not solve the problem (actually haven't re-tried since reporting), and I forgot how to send a private message (It's kind of non.obvious IMHO)

    Thanks. Just want to let you know I didn't forget this one. There's some delay because some people are out. But I should be able to provide an update soon.

    And an intermediate update again ... It will require more time to merge everythng and make it accesible with one single account. But the documentation team is looking into a workaround. As soon as somethng is known, I'll report it here!

    As of the next version 24.1, the release notes will be bundled with the Magellan download package. For 23.4, they will only be available through support. Please contact support to get them. I have asked the documentation team to update the 23.4 page with this info.
