by   in Experience Cloud

Hi there! My name is Viktor Popov, and I’m the new product manager for the OpenText Output Transformation Suite of Products. I’m looking forward to building a product that solves your use cases so you can create value for your customers.

We’ll cover three updates today:

1. Community portal launch

2. What’s new in 24.4

3. Industry Insights

Community Portal Launch

I’m happy to share that we’ve launched our community portal for OTS. Addressing customer use cases and solving business problems doesn’t happen in a vacuum: products focused on those pain points are built off insights from our community – the users and buyers of our software. So, let’s use this community to:

- Share use cases to inspire future product innovation

- Ask questions and get answers from our experts

- Learn from each other

- Find out about product releases and demos

- Read about industry trends

Accessibility Industry Insights

Tik Tok! Alarm clock You have 6 months to protect your revenue streams in the European Union. Why? The European Accessibility Act (EAA) is just around the corner. You may wonder, does this law have bite? It has a very firm one in fact: the EU is tying your right to sell into the EU market to a CE certification, which you can only attain through EAA compliance. Regulatory compliance is based off meeting the EN 301 549 accessibility requirements, which build on the WCAG AA standards. Watch our video "Document Accessibility for Section 508 and ADA compliance".

If you’re not a European-based company, don’t worry you’re not missing out. You’re also included under the purview of this law. So, even if you’re an Americas or APAC-based customer you’ll still need to comply to keep your EU revenue sources.

We can help. With Output Transformation and Document Accessibility you can remediate PDFs in bulk and at the individual level, respectively, to become EAA compliant and keep your revenue streams. Read the overview!
