Tests running slower on AMD 5 PRO 8540U as compared to 13th Generation intel i5 (1345U)

Hello,

We just got a few AMD machines (G11 HP Elitebook). We were expecting at par or faster performance with new machines. However, test execution time for desktop application has been almost double(from 4-5 minutes to 9-10 minutes) 

Our guess for cause is the processor. Can anything else be the cause. Is there any way to improve the performance.
