The idea is to add a new property at the Application Object, called "appversion" that returns the correct metadata with the application's version. What we have at this moment is only the property "version" that return the build version number.
This will allow us to implement at our report test the version that a script run, and also allow other validations.
The request comes in following up the ticket 02550197, where was created a hotfix to implement this (see image attached). But to fundamentally solve this issue, there is a need to make this request.
