Upgrade from v3.7 to v5.1

Hi all,

We are planning to upgrade SV from v3.7 to v5.1.

As described in "Upgrade and Migration" in the Help Center, we noticed that we have to migrate our projects after installation.

But as mentioned in "Project Migration" (https://admhelp.microfocus.com/sv/en/5.1/Help/Content/Installation/c_migration.htm), migration is only supported for projects created with version 4.00 or higher. How can we migrate projects from v3.7 to v5.1?

Besides, are there any steps that have to be performed during the upgrade process from v3.7 to v5.1 but are not mentioned in the Help Center?

    Hi,

    solution is to first migrate to 4.0 and than to 5.1. The process is basically the same, you just need to do it twice. If you are interested, ":27,"gen":0},{"name":"XYZ"},0,792,0]" target="_self">this is 4.0 migration description

    BTW newest version is 5.1.1, so you might want to use this one instead of 5.1.

    I don't think there are more steps than what is described in the documentation.
