Restrict selection of process items to within the given project

I would like to request that, during the Link and Pin step of checking in a file, a developer is forced to ONLY select an SCR from the Project and View they are currently in? We have had instances where developers have browsed to another project and selected an SCR from there, which is something we want to disallow.
