PVCS version manager migration from windows 2003 to 2007 server

We are currently using Serena PVCS version manager version: 8.5.0.0 en_US (Build 055) in Windows 2003 server. we are planning to migrate the entire PVCS repositories from Windows 2003 to Windows 2007 server. Please let me know your valuable inputs to perform the same.

Are you upgrading PVCS/VM as part of the move? (8.6 ?)
Are you doing (or thinking of doing) any Housekeeping on your repositories? (Possibly not as per question) but do you need to sort out any legacy archives etc
Are there any limitations (up front) on the two servers... Different domains/firewalls between them etc etc
Are you looking to migrate "everything" - LicenceManager on same server that sort of thing?

Thanks Drewster for reply on my Query. Please find my responses below,
Are you upgrading PVCS/VM as part of the move? (8.6 ?) No We aren't goint to upgrade the PVCS version
Are you doing (or thinking of doing) any Housekeeping on your repositories? (Possibly not as per question) but do you need to sort out any legacy archives etc - No all the repositories are being used and we need to move everything as per the exisiting structure
Are there any limitations (up front) on the two servers... Different domains/firewalls between them etc etc - Domains/firewalls are similar, OS version slone will be different
Are you looking to migrate "everything" - LicenceManager on same server that sort of thing? - Yes, Windows 2003 server is going to be decommissioned so we are planning to migrate everything related to PVCS including LicenseManager to new Windows 2007 server

    Hello John,

Assuming you are going to run Windows 2008 (R2), you can install the same VM release on the server, though I recommend you don't stay with VM 8.5.0.0. At minimum consider upgrading to knowledgebase.serena.com/.../index
