Compiler for JavaScript

Hello,

Is OpenText working or planning to work on a compiler for JavaScript? (Currently the compiler is only available for C)

Is your question specific about the compiler or more about the support for a scripting language?

The latter seems to me more relevant for an end-user. The answer is that there is a protocol called DevWeb that is JS oriented and runs on NodeJS. Script development can be done within VuGen or some common GUI coding tools like Visual Studio.

My opinion: DevWeb is programmer-oriented, fits with CI/CD and suites best for API kind of testing (REST etc). It is harder for Performer Testers that lack JS programming skills.
