LoadRunner Controller Error

Good Morning,

in a new installation of Loadrunner Professional Version 2023 R1, when I try to run amy first simple scenario, where it calls only a lr_think_time statment, when I select the tab Error, it display an error pop-up "Registration Failed - Could not register this client. Check the --resultsPath Argument.". (See Below)

Which is the possible reason?

Thank you in advance.

    Hello llaria
I have seen this issue before. To resolve please restart "LoadRunner Dashboard Service"
    Thanks David

    Hello Ilaria
I am sorry to hear this did not work.
It might be worth having a look at where you are storing your results.
Please ensure the path is as short as possible - try to have a short one without spaces, on some systems this is a problem.
If this does not work I would suggest to run the installer with the repair option.

    Thanks David

Thank you for your support David,

Unfortunately, I have already tried the repair programme without solving it.

    This is the results path:

    - Result name: res

    - Directory: E:\New folder

For you, it could be a problem that I have installetd all the Loadrunner Module in E disk and not in C?

    Thanks Ilaria

    Hello llaria
We did have a similar issue to this in earlier versions and we fixed this to be released with the 2023R1.
So I am surprised to see this error.
I would suggest you log a support ticket and have our technical support team debug this further.
The E drive should not be causing an issue but you might want to rule this by uninstalling and reinstalling on the default C drive.
    Thanks David

    Hi to all,

after requesting technical assistance, these steps were decisive, even though I couldn't perform the second steps for not have the influxdb.conf under that directory

    1. Open IE> Setting > Internet Options >Connections > LAN Settings > Check Bypass proxy server for local address
    2. Edit this file “LoadRunner\bin\influxdb\influxdb.conf” auth-enabled = true --> auth-enabled = false
    3. Restart LoadRunner Dashboard Service
