"Click” step on a link is completed, the tab does not navigate to the target URL

This issue was introduced between Chromium 86 and 90. It is seen in Chromium 88 and 89 but not in 86 or 90.  We plan to upgrade Chromium to 90 or later in the coming release.
Workaround: If you encounter this issue, do the following:

  • Change the “Action” of the “Click” step to “Evaluate JavaScript”.
  • Enter “object.click();” in the “Code” argument.
