How do I record a LoadRunner Script on LoadRunner Cloud?

You can use VuGen, TruClient etc.

There is a section about it in oneline DOC. admhelp.microfocus.com/.../t_manage_scripts.htm

You can record scripts in VuGen or TruClient, then upload them to LoadRunner Cloud.

If your question is whether users can record LR script inside LRC (https://loadrunner-cloud.saas.microfocus.com), the answer is No.

Can record a VuGen Script on LoadRunner Cloud?
That is a more precise question.

So what is the use of LRC, if you have to record the business process on a On Prem platform, to import the script onto a cloud platform. MF get you to buy 2 different licenses for the same job.

You record ^ develop scripts in IDE (VuGen, TruClient etc.). They don't need extra license. There are download links for them in LRC.
