Certificate error only after Vugen recording completes in Chrome

When doing a Vugen recording using chrome, I have no security issues throughout the recording.  The script generates fine.  After the recoding, when I re-open Chrome and proceed to any website, I get a NET::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID.  Tried doing a cache clear with no luck.  Edge is still working after doing the recording in Chrome.  Re-starting the laptop solves the problem. 

What am I missing?  Is the Vugen recording moving my certs and not putting them back?  Is it adding a proxy for the recording and not removing it?  E
