Load runner Cloud integration with client network

Hello there,

We have a specific requirement for running a performance test cycle for a client based in Australia with Load runner Cloud using Truclient protocol. Now we would like to know how to connect client network with LoadRunner cloud.

Now the company can't open firewalls for IP origin addresses which are shared with LR Cloud. Will a proxy server be required in the setup? Does it has to be provisioned at client side or it can be provisioned on mircro focus side as well?

What are the different option to connect client applications with LR cloud if the client policy doesn't allow it to be over open internet?

Kind regards,

Anand

    Dear Anand,

Basically the proxy can work if your proxy can connect by Cloud load generator.

LRC also has multiple options when AUT is behind firewall:

    1. Dedicated IPs: This option means you allocated cloud dedicated IPs only for your tenants. Once you have those IPs, you can request your network/firewall team to open the firewall on those specific IPs
    2. On-Premise load generator (OPLG): You also use your own load generator machine to execute the test. However, your OPLG should be able to connect to LRC and runtime-component
    3. Dedicated VPC: This means LRC provision cloud-based load generators for your load tests in an AWS virtual private cloud dedicated just for you. This option is doable if your AUT is deployed in AWS
