After upgrading Jenkins to version 2.472, the configuration screen for the OpenText Application Automation Tools plugin fails to render completely. Users encounter missing sections in the Build Step and Post-build Actions modules. Logs display warnings pointing to an issue with the plugin's configuration file.

Environment

Jenkins Version: 2.472 to 2.484
Plugin Version: 24.2

Situation

After upgrading Jenkins to version 2.472, the Configure page for jobs using the OpenText Application Automation Tools plugin no longer renders completely. This happens in the following steps:

  1. A Build Step is configured using the 'Execute Open Tests from File System' option
  2. The configuration is saved successfully, and the job appears to be functional.
  3. Upon re-entering the Configure page for the affected job, the following issues are observed:
    • The Build Step section is no longer visible.
    • The Post-build Actions section is also missing from the configuration screen .

Additionally, the Jenkins logs display warnings similar to the following:
2024-08-27 15:12:08.430+0000 [id=25]    WARNING h.i.i.InstallUncaughtExceptionHandler#handleException
