Knowledge Doc: Error "a positional parameter cannot be found that accepts argument 'false'" when integrating Azure Devops with UFT One

When integrating UFT One with Azure DevOps, users must ensure that the ADM-TFS-Extension version matches the UFT version. Using an incorrect version of ADM-TFS-Extension may lead to errors such as "a positional parameter cannot be found that accepts argument 'false'".

Environment

UFT One 2021-2023
Azure DevOps

Situation

To integrate UFT One with Azure DevOps, it is necessary to download and install the ADM-TFS-Extension. However, the ADM-TFS-Extension download page does not clearly indicate which versions of UFT are supported, leading to common mistakes.

The official documentation provides the same download link for ADM-TFS-Extension for UFT One versions 2021 through 2023, but the actual ADM-TFS-Extension versions required for different UFT versions vary. For example, a user might have successfully used UFT 2022 with ADM-TFS-Extension Version 4.0.1, but after upgrading to UFT 2023 while still using the same ADM-TFS-Extension version, they may encounter the following error: "a positional parameter cannot be found that accepts argument 'false'."

This issue is caused by an incompatibility between the PSModule.dll file in ADM-TFS-Extension Version 4.0.1 and UFT 2023.
