Chrome Web Page embedded within Microsoft Word

I am having difficulties accessing the web elements from a chrome browser.  Saud web browser is embedded within a Microsoft Word application. Pls look at the video for further information:

I remember there used to be an 'Add in extensibility kit' that allowed you to develop add ins for custom UI Toolkits.  Is there such a thing for Web Add Ins embedded into Microsoft Word and Excel applications?
