Make visible max VUH per LG configuration. Even better: make this configurable for the users.

I can't see how many LG's will be started for my test. I have a certain limit of LG's in the whitelist (90), so I would like to be able to calculate how many VUH I can define in the test, maximally.

For example, my application and the TruClient scripts are very heavy and in the past it had been proved that the LG have problems when there are more than 15 VU's per LG. So I want to define this as a max and also need to know, how many VU's I can define in my test.

So, ideally, I would configure 15 VU/LG. Having 90 IP;s whitelisted, I will know, that my max is 90*15=1350 VU's.

This has been manipulated for us by MF engineers. Why can't I do this myself? The configuration by the way seems to be lost every time there is a deploy of a new version

  • The configuration of the number of VUs/LG is fixed, I am not sure if that has changed between releases.

You can currently submit a service request to change this configuration for a specific protocol in a specific project in your tenant.

In the future, such configuration is planned to be available via the tool.

Note that changing the number of VUs/LG configurations may increase the infrastructure cost and thus under certain ranges the user will be alerted that applying a new max limit of VUs/LG may change the VU / VUH license consumption.
