DB disks space - difference read

Hi community,

can anyone explain to me why there is difference between  drives space value  what  sitescope read and what DataBase admin read.

no matter how many times we reporting DB admin about low free space on his server but when he check he said "drive space is fine it is +50GB"

on the same time on Sitescope show us it is less than 10GB.
