How to make Jira Resolution available in MF Connect

In Jira the Field "Resolution" is mandatory and has to be set when an Issue is resolved/closed.

Before resolving/closing an issue, the field must be empty and not shown on any screen.

We want to transfer the content of the field Resolution using MF Connect.

However to be available in MF Connect, the Field Resolution has to be included on the Edit-Screen.

Which makes the Edit-Screen unusable, as the Field is mandatory on every screen it appears - but isn't allowed to be set before closing an issue.

Is there any workaround to this situation?

The last round of MF Connect 4.4.3 Hotfixes have addressed this issue.

Read only fields - including resolution - which are NOT on the Create or Edit Screens are now visible in the MF Connect UI.

These hot fix build numbers are shown in the screenshot below...

All customers were notified of this hotfix release on January 3rd.

    Dear  ,

    Are you refering to this?

D203014, RPI 647994 - SD02821241 - Added support to the JIRA connector for 'Edit screen' fields to be recognized and added automatically to the list of available fields. For the 'Edit screen' fields to be available, there must be at least one ‘editable’ issue of the mapped JIRA issue type available in the sample project and mapped projects. No changes to user configuration are required.

But this only speaks about the Edit-Screen, and didn't mention anything about fields that are only available on the view-screen and transition-screens.

    Or am I missing something?Thinking

Yes, we augmented the overall algorithm so we now take a union of the fields on the create screen, the edit screen and the 4 read only fields - resolution & time tracking.
