How to resolve "The sync rules common projects list must be empty." in the tab for defining filter rules

I want to use the Feature "Server filters" to filter out some of elements that could be synchronized.

However, in all of my connections, I am stuck with the message: "The sync rules common projects list must be empty."

What exactly has to be done to resolve this warning?

There is a list of common projects in the rules section, but there is no way to empty this list.

So what has to be done in my case to make server filter available?

There are multiple utility scripts including

purgeDisabledProjects, purgeDisabedTypes, importXrefs, mergeConnections, etc, in the utilities folder.

Depending upon the problem you are trying to solve - retaining cross references - or discarding them,

the use of these scripts involves careful thought, as well as orchestration.

This is why Ed recommended opening an incident and working with us to go through the process with you, at least once.

If you'd rather go it alone, then I'd recommend a careful read of the online help

    Batch utility scripts (microfocus.com)

    Take care
